We are excited to share the news that VASS’s very own Anne Bethune has named as a recipient of the B.C Community Achievement Award!!
“These 2015 award recipients have all gone above and beyond to make their communities stronger,” said Premier Christy Clark
The award is presented to British Columbians who go above and beyond in their dedication and service to others and who devote time and energy to making their communities more caring, dynamic, beautiful, healthy, and unique. They inspire by their example.
Anne has been inspiring VASS for over 27 with her incredible vision, leadership and passion helping VASS grow into what it has become today. President since 2005, Anne’s volunteer leadership has ensured the organization’s successful delivery of adaptive skiing and snowboarding programs on Grouse, Seymour and Cypress Mountains. As well Anne has been a leader in instructor development provincially and nationally.
Her award reflects on everyone’s amazing contribution to VASS and how we are making a difference in our community.
