Students, parents, and family can also get involved in creating a positive change within the VASS community! As we are a non-profit organization, we greatly rely on fundraising, donations, sponsors, and the hard work and commitment of our volunteers each year.
Here are 2 ways you can actively participate in fundraising events:
- Online Silent Auction: 1st week of November — This is hosted online at www.32auctions.com and this offers a fantastic chance for early holiday shopping, while generating funds for VASS. If you have items that you would like to donate or you would like to assist in contacting potential donors, please email info@vass.ca with the details or to express your interest. Check out the auction site once it’s live (10 days only!) in November.
- VASS-A-THON: last week of program lessons (February 25 – March 3 2024) — This is an opportunity for everyone to participate, including students, instructors, parents and family, and all non-VASS participants. This ski-and-board-a-thon occurs during the last week of lessons, and allows anyone to collect pledges based on the laps completed on your chosen ski run. This is a fun way to fundraise and to socialize with friends and family, so save the date. Sign-up options are through your profile at vass.skiportal.org:
