Event Day Details

Saturday March 5th, 2022

10:00 am – 10:30 am	Registration at base of Grouse tram. Take tram up by 10:45 am
11:00 am	Event Kickoff (includes Race Briefing) – (Peak Chalet, upstairs)
11:00 am –  2:00 pm	VASS Cup race (The Cut)
11:30 am – 2:30 pm	Snowfest Activities NEW all-levels (non-race) ski/snowboard/snowboot adventure course (Paradise, near Beavertails) – non-skiers welcome! Experience Zone – try sit-skiing, 3-track or visually impaired skiing and snowboarding with experienced VASS instructors (Ski Wee, next to the Magic Carpet) VASS Yurt tours at 11:30, 12:00 and 12:30 If you don’t ski, don’t worry! Show your VASS Snowfest lanyard and get free snowshoe rentals to explore the snowshoe trails
2:30 pm –  4:00 pm	VASS Apres Social, Auction and snacks (Peak Chalet, upstairs)

 

By car

From Vancouver downtown: follow Georgia Street through Stanley Park and across the Lion’s Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive, then left up Capilano Road for 5 km (3.1 miles).

From the Ironworkers’ Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, follow Highway #1 westbound to Capilano Road Exit North.

Pay parking is available.

Public Transit

The public transit system offers regular service to the base of Grouse Mountain every half hour.

Catch Bus 232 from Phibbs Exchange or Bus 236 from Lonsdale Quay.
